Jackson Stern’s review published on Letterboxd:
“See you in the beginning, friend.”
I enjoyed this and understood this a lot more the second time. The immense audio problems are still there and I think the narrative could’ve been a lot more clear and less messy in many places (and as a whole, it could just be a bit more memorable of an experience) but overall, it’s just one hell of a ride. And seeing a Nolan film like this projected in 70mm was just...amazing. I’m still unclear about what it’s trying to say or “get at” but at the end of the day, all I really wanted was a grand spectacle with interesting visuals, concepts, and some intriguing dialogue and I think for the most part, Nolan delivered.
