Jackson Stern’s review published on Letterboxd:
While its influences are clear (The Shining, Eraserhead, and I even got some The Turin Horse vibes a few times), this remains one of the most original and greatest films of our time. The way it invades my soul and senses all together in a way I cannot describe is something really special. The amount of ways this film inspires me to make my own films is too much to explain and it reminds me that great cinema can still get proper funding and everyone involved can still care a great deal about making truly exceptional art.
