Absolutely visually stunning, but also so excruciatingly bleak that you’ll be checking the time early and often. War films have always been a tough sell for me, but this is on the better end of that spectrum, even if it feels overscored a *little* bit (yes, there’s so little score, but the moments it plays during could all be scoreless and even more effective).
