Thank god this movie made me less attracted to Taika Watiti rather than more attracted to Hitler.

Actually though, apologies to my boy Taika, but I think his role in here is easily the weakest part of the movie. We needed either more time with this imaginary Hitler or it needed to be restricted to just a sequence. It feels disarming, and not in a way that seems intentional, every time he pops up.

That said, all of the other performances are top notch. I know she's a never ending fount of problematicisms in the real world, but dang ScarJo is very good at her job.
