    Still one of my favorite movie musicals. Some things haven’t aged so well about this film and it is a bit overindulgent sometimes, but I can’t deny how much of a smile it puts on my face every time.     Film Club #9:

    Love me some unconventional coming of age stories.
    To me, all the scenes where the main character is going through “initiation” at veterinary school are amazing. The dance party sequence is just awesome.
    Not to discount the rest of the movie as it’s still very good, I just didn’t love it as much as the first act.
    All the performances are phenomenal, especially the two sisters.
