Jacob Cornblatt’s review published on Letterboxd:
An experimental examination on long term relationships disguising itself as a straightforward romance, In the Mood for Love is exceptional. It's masterfully written and produced, with Wong Kar Wai refusing to present his story in a traditional way.
Though the whole film is just excellent, I was most blown away by the quiet, reflective moments... the moments where images and music take the foreground. This is where In the Mood for Love earns its stripes.
