Every generation gets the version of THE APPLE it deserves, I guess (though the music in that dystopian disco freak out is way better). Totally inscrutable, often insufferable, and thoroughly inexplicable. Too bonkers to ever be boring, though, I’ll give it that. As we learned in THE SPARKS BROTHERS, the world (including myself) probably isn’t ready and this will be hailed as a work of genius 20 years from now. Until then: yeah, I dunno, man.
