Matthias & Maxime really touched me. Not in the sense that it really made me cry, but it gave me that sense of warmth and deep caring for the characters (alright and sometime frustration when it concerns Matthias). It might be Dolan's most tender movie. I love how it meanders through the lives of Matthias and Maxime with a lot of eye for detail, also regarding the other characters and societal norms. The soundtrack was great as always and I am so glad that I have now finally seen a Dolan on the big screen. Can't wait to see it again.
