Jake Alda Coffey’s review published on Letterboxd:
The film does a great job honoring Chadwick Boseman throughout. They did it delicately and with care. But beyond that, I found this sequel to juggle too much for its own good. Marvel as a whole has gone from realistic superhero fun to just complete mythological fantasy, and it’s really taken me out of the Marvel Universe I used to love. They just expect us to accept some of the ridiculous nonsense that happen in these movies when it just doesn’t make any sense. The visual effects are still subpar and look practically unfinished in some scenes. Even for a nearly 3 hour film, much of it felt rushed. And I think that might have to do with the fact of how they had to quickly rewrite everything after Boseman’s passing while still trying to make Feige’s deadlines. The movie had a lot of potential, but it falls short.
