The setup to this movie is perfect. Gosling’s opening speech & sequence sets up who his character is. I’m typically not a Nicholas Winding Refn fan but i love DRIVE, it’s by far his best movie. I forgot how relentlessly brutal it is. Great performances by Ryan Gosling and especially Albert Brooks who I heavily believe deserved an Oscar nomination for his performance. LOVE the soundtrack too, creates the perfect scenic LA vibe.
