David Byrne is such a unique presence. He carries this entire film from beginning to end on his slender shoulders and delivers quite the performance. Talking Heads didn't do anything flashy, they stuck to the basics and the focus is always on them, not the set or the lighting however dazzling it may seem at times. This is a film centered around music and the people who create it, nothing more, nothing less. Simplicity is key. Also, big suit.
