Marvel's goofy phase beats the shit out of its serious universe-building phase (and ironically it's better and more fun at exploring the actual universe). Superhero movies have become so glib about violence that this, a silly lark that makes open punchlines of its chaos, is the logical endpoint. Everyone is good in this, but Goldblum completely steals it with only a few minutes of screen time. God I hope he works with Waititi again with a more substantive role.
