• Willy's Wonderland

    Willy's Wonderland

    ★★★★

Film #1 of Daily Horror Hunt #30
Task #4 - Watch a horror with a main character who rocks a beard.

Nic Cage stays one night at Willy's instead of five nights at Freddy's with Cage playing the role of the DOOM Slayer.

  • Uncle Sam

    Uncle Sam

    ★★

Film #2 of Daily Horror Hunt #37
Task #4 - Watch a horror set on a holiday.

Along with some pretty good gore effects, Issac Hayes was the MVP of this film and really saved it. This was somewhat really disappointing and really didn't find its groove until about halfway in when the killings finally start.

  • Air Force One

    Air Force One

    ★★★½

Film #2 of Scavenger Hunt #73
Task #4 - Watch a movie that takes place on the 4th of July or watch something that patriotic.

Not a whole lot you can say about this film, it just the perfect Independence Day film. And Harrison Ford is the best cinematic president.

  • The Hunt

    The Hunt

    ★★

Film #1 of Daily Horror Hunt #37
Task #23 - Watch a ‘good for her’ horror movie.

Betty Gilpin puts in a pretty good performance with what she is given and The old couple at the gas station put me in mind of the old couple from The League of Gentlemen for whatever reason so that put a smile on my face. also, it was cool to see Macon Blair, even though he is in all three scenes but in…

  • The Meg

    The Meg

    ★★★★

Film #1 of Scavenger Hunt #73
Task #12 - Watch any movie with prehistoric animals.

It had been a long time since I've had this much with a film. It had hooked from the moment the Thai cover of Hey Micky started playing until the very end when they started to play it again.

  • Black Sheep

    Black Sheep

    ★★★

Film #1 of Daily Horror Hunt #36
Task #18 - Watch a horror film on DVD, Bluray, or 4K.

This a really fun film with some really good practical effects. The story was predictable and the characters were kinda generic, but this is a film in which you come for the gore and comedy.

  • Skyscraper

    Skyscraper

    ★★★

    Film #4 of Actionx52
Watch an action film with a Pro-Wrestler.

This is a film where the rock does his best spider-man cosplay and duck tape is the unsung hero.

  • Acts of Vengeance

    Acts of Vengeance

    ★½

    Film #3 of Actionx52
Watch a film directed by Isaac Florentine

A pretty dull John Wick knockoff complete with badass car and dog. The plot was paper-thin and predictable with the performance feeling like they are on autopilot. The dog was cute though.

  • Under Siege

    Under Siege

    ★★½

    Film 2 of Actionx52
Watch an action film with Jean-Claude van Damme or Steven Seagal.

This is probably Seagal's best film and and of the better Die Hard knockoffs. It just too bad the film gets stolen from Segal by Tommy Lee Jones.

  • Hard Boiled

    Hard Boiled

    ★★★★★

Film #7 of Scavenger Hunt #70
Task #11 - watch a film starring an actor/actress who was in three or more Wong Kar-wai films

This film is so amazing that it has a video game sequel for the PS2 and it's a much watch for anybody that says that are a fan of action films.

  • The Third Man

    The Third Man

    ★★★★★

Film #6 of Scavenger Hunt #70
Task #9 - Watch a pre-1950’s film that is part of the Criterion Collection.

There is not much that I can say about it that has not already been said. The acting, the story, the cinematography, and the score are all perfect or as close to perfect as a film can get.

  • Braindead

    Braindead

    ★★★★½

Film #10 of Daily Horror Hunt #31
Task #22 - watch a movie from hellspawn28's top 65 favorite horror movies list

There's about fifty films worth of blood and gore in this film and I loved every second of it.
