James Healey’s review published on Letterboxd:
Seven without a doubt has not only one of the best opening credits, but one of the best endings in any film. Every time I get to the "package" scene, I get chills down my spine. I think it's even worse knowing the twist, since you're so ready for how fucked everything is about to get.
Like almost every other Fincher film, Seven looks and sounds beautiful, and has fantastic cast, that perfectly plays their roles(respectively). This film is perfect, and deserves it praise as a "classic".
