The first 55 minutes creeped me out. David was creepy, and the bear was creepy throughout. When it kicks in during the 2nd act, it becomes brilliant.
I shed a tear at the end.

There are some decent laughs about, but it's far too long, like most of Apatow's movies, and it tries too hard.
I really liked the cast though, and the cameos were good.
