This movie only gets stronger upon repeated viewings. It's a hilarious romp from start to finish, anchored by strong character arcs and a much stronger thematic throughline than it has any right to have. The more America buckles under the weight of its unresolved white supremacy, the more relevant this movie feels.
The closest thing I have to a complaint about this movie is that I wish they would have stuck closer to traditional depictions of Hel and given Cate Blanchett half a corpse face. It's not that I expect or care about fidelity to traditional myths from these Marvel movies; I just think it would be really fucking metal.
