i kind of loved every second of it ... i am partially blinded bc i am swedish and this only made me want to move there FASTER !!!! also i was so delighted to see how realistically ari aster wrote men to speak – specifically how cishet men in the 21st century speak – the characteristic defensiveness, assumptive attitude, cluelessness, arrogance, and absurd egocentrism are encapsulated in the mold of christian ... his tone (and that of the film overall) feels so uniquely poised to communicate and critique the narcissism of american patriarchy
