Best in Show 2000
This was a pretty damn delightful comedy with some stellar casting. My favorite thing is that it rarely or maybe never felt mean spirited and that it let these actors just shine. The Menu 2022
I had tons of fun with this, especially watching it at my friend’s house while we paused every couple minutes to discuss plot twists. I’m a very lonesome person who generally consumes movies alone, so that was a refreshing experience.
While I found some catharsis and comedy here, the movie lost me a few too many times because it got too messy for me thematically. For example, there’s a sequence with Elsa and Margot that was thrilling in the moment…
