goes from the first film's city-girl-gang-grievances right into a beach-youth heist-cult where they scrappily plan to steal money off a religious movement. fair fucking play.
doubles down on what i said about the anti-beach blanket bingo stuff, this is a surf movie without the surf. point break without the sport, just directionless teens coming to terms with the brevity of life and naiveties relationship.
an end befitting of the summer. morning runs on the sand,rebuilt guns. a recruitment into adulthood. money was the prize but its clearly not the significance.
