let’s just say, i wasn’t prepared for this movie. i didn’t know much about it before watching, but i am SO, SO GLAD that i watched it with another person (thank you so much tino!!) i would’ve been destroyed by what i saw. there is no doubt that this movie is well made, with good acting, storytelling, etc. but the gore was a bit too much for my liking, yet this definitely isn’t a bad film! florence pugh was so good in this, her performance was fantastic (it reminds me of elizabeth olsen in ‘sorry for your loss) and i’m glad she got to film ‘little women’ right after this crazy film. i can’t wait to see what she stars in next. to finish this off, i’d just like to say: holy shit. this was definitely an experience.
