I rarely log re-watches if my opinion doesn't change and of the million times I've seen this, my opinion stays the same.
Rosamund Pike's Amy Dunne is probably my favorite performance.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross do some of their best work. Gillian Flynn's screenplay is a ton of fun. David Fincher's direction is meticulous and he keeps the film at a fast pace for 2 and a half hours. This movie is so good that Tyler Perry gives a great performance in it.
It's dark, twisted, nihilistic yet hilarious. It finds entertainment in being so morbid. It also has a brain in its head. It's a clever analysis on gender roles and the role of the media in our society.
I love it to bits.
Also the "Cool Girl" monologue is one of the best things EVER
