Jay Sherman’s review published on Letterboxd:
I had little to knowledge of the actual story of Tonya Harding (forgive me) and therefore this "based on a true" story film became unpredictable and compelling. Margot Robbie is brilliant in the lead, among with the rest. I was also fond of I, Tonya's style, which reminded me of The Big Short with quick cuts and constant breaking the fourth wall moments with the characters of the film.
This is definitely an Oscar contender and a film I might be routing for. Not sure how this will play out if you know everything about Tonya Harding, then it's worth seeing for just the performance of Margot Robbie. Go in blinded if you can.
