I went in not quite knowing what it was about and let me just say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up loving it. Cute, sad, heartfelt and it was smart. Like, funny smart. Which I find is rare in films nowadays; or at least it's rare that it's done well. I loved the characters and Jojo's narrative was so well written, it was hard not to adore him. Definitely a satire that I can get behind.
