    "Dad, did I die?"

Godsend has an interesting story on paper, but the execution wasn't particularly good. The cast is pretty good, but the story doesn't really go anywhere too interesting and it lacks thrills and intensity, despite trying to have both. I didn't hate it, but it's pretty mediocre.

    "Push the button, Max!?"

The Great Race was directed by Blake Edwards and stars Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Natalie Wood, and Peter Falk. All four of them are quite fun here, espeically Lemmon, who is entertainingly over the top in his role. The film has a pretty fun story too and some good laughs along the way. The sets and costumes are good and despite being over two and a half hours, I enjoyed it throughout. It probably could have been a bit shorter, but the pacing was solid.

This film is worth watching simply for Al Pacino's incredible performance. The film explores the injustices of the justice system and features a few really powerful scenes. The ending is just amazing. Highly recommended. 8.5/10

David Fincher is one of my all time favorite directors, so as soon as this film was announced I was looking forward to it. Then the first trailer was released and I was even more excited. Then the reviews started coming out and everyone was loving and I was dying to…
