Fuck man...

Early into this film I knew exactly how I was gonna review this in a jokey manner like all my reviews but I can’t with this film. Death is a very scary part of my life and I ponder on it very often and scare myself and it’s like Kaufman wanted to rehabilitate that fear into a film that I would compare to a cold blanket. It lets you know your not alone in these thoughts but doesn’t save you from that inevitable fact that it still will happen. I may be getting a little too personal for letterboxd reviews but I can’t just take this film at face value. So fucking heart shattering to watch, the last 30 minutes I couldn’t stop crying. This is the best and worst thing i’ve ever seen, and that is meant in the best way possible. Will never forget this viewing experience. Please if you haven’t seen this, do me a favor and watch it. It may or may not help with anything, especially considering what’s going on in the world right now but this could be exactly what your looking for, it was for me.
