Juan’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Tyler sold his soap to department stores at $20 a bar. Lord knows what they charged. It was beautiful. We were selling rich women their own fat asses back to them."
Ranked by most as Fincher's best, to me it is one of his worst. Stylistically it is great, hence the 3.5 stars, but I cannot grow to like the source material. Fight Club's pseudo-anti-capitalism is obnoxious and annoying, even if the script is moderately funny. Bottom line is, great performances and directing, but I just can't care about the story.
