I must be in an alternate universe myself because I do not understand how people can possibly enjoy this clusterf*ck of a movie. It honestly made 2.5 hours feel like 5 and there was virtually no plot after the halfway mark. In fact, the whole second half feels like one scene stretched out over an hour. The majority of the jokes feel like they were written by a 12 year old and on the whole, this movie feels more like the ramblings of someone having a psychotic break than an actual film. Does this film perfectly capture the modern identity, Generation Z, and pop culture? Yes. But it promotes and showcases a lot of the worst things about it all. Furthermore, the themes were poorly developed while also lacking subtlety. Suffice it to say, I did not enjoy this and would not recommend it.
