rhonda’s review published on Letterboxd:
“what do you know about cruelty?”
a beguiling and visceral glimpse into humanity at its most primal, and what it means to be human. the overly sensationalist reactions really piss me off now. it’s only erotic insomuch that humans have erotic feelings, and harrowing insomuch as any film of humans hurtling into the unknown with no hope for return would be. high life is a transcendent experience to behold — a second viewing is essential.
