Wow, that’s a great dark superhero film. The pacing was great for a three hour movie. The music and cinematography really pulled me into Gotham. I look forward to the next installment.

Clue 1985
One of my favorite screw-ball comedies, Clue has a great balance of comedy and mystery, with some crime & thriller too. With great performances, especially Tim Curry, and many memorable lines, I find it very rewatchable. I first saw it as a teen, so there’s an added nostalgia factor for me, but if you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend it highly.

John Wick 2014
If you’re a fan of crime or action films, you NEED to see this film. IMHO, it redefines the genre. It starts slow and builds to an incredible crescendo, all the while methodically building a whole world that these characters inhabit. The director is a former stuntman, turned stunt coordinator/director who previously worked with Keanu in the Matrix films. The cinematography and direction is framed around the fighting scenes in a way I’ve never seen before. The whole John Wick series is great, I highly recommend them.
