From the first shot I was very glad to see this in IMAX
Some really great sequences of Sam Raimi doing some cool shit only he can do, who knows about the plot but at this point I can’t say I really care where the overall marvel thing is going narratively, I’m down to occasionally see movies where cool directors get crazy amounts of money to do cool shit. Like, there’s some unhinged live-action Castlevania shit that goes down here.

I saw this at one of the director’s cut screenings that were offered for one night only. These began with a pre-recorded message from Lars von Trier that started with “good evening, brave Americans”. I hope this footage gets saved so others can see it, it was hilarious.
