Toy Story 4

Toy Story 4 ★★★

Enjoyable in a low-stakes, single-environment vein, with a lot of time devoted to characters just hanging out within the sandboxed terrain and waxing philosophical witticisms on the nature of being a toy—a state of being which turns out to be fairly loose and open-ended. Remove the needless action sequences and pace-deadening introductions of new characters (aside from Forky, of course, who is a delight) and this would be the franchise's Rio Bravo.
