There doesn’t seem to be much I could say about this film that hasn’t been said already. Oldboy tells the story of Dae-Su, an obnoxious drunk who finds himself abducted and held hostage in a prison for 15 years; all that time never knowing why he was taken. What follows though is one of the most sick, twisted and utterly enthralling tales of revenge ever put on screen. An absolute classic in my opinion.
