Was slightly worried that this wasn’t working for me as a film… but by the time I got about 1/3 through, I realised it’s not meant to. It’s meant to work for me as an opera, not a film. After I realised this, it all clicked together. It’s meant to be a performance, a work of art and stagecraft rather than an immersive, lifelike experience. 

I adored it. I can’t stop singing ‘We Love Each Other So Much’ too, so damn catchy.
