This was my most anticipated of the entire year and it didn't disappoint in the slightest. I unfortunate agree with that this film falls under the "standard bio pic" formula that comes every awards season, but man does Colman Domingo's performance just make this journey worth it. Always commanding and passionate, if Gary Oldman can win for his work in something as bad as Darkest Hour, I'm all in for Colman Domingo getting nominated for this one.

Next Goal Wins 2023
A solid funny sports underdog tale infused with the signature Taika Waititi humor that's sure to distract your from the world for two hours. Loved the message about finding your happiness in this world; especially empathizing slowing down and taking time for appreciating things in life before they can be gone forever.

Promising Young Woman 2020
I honestly have no words on this magnificent bold story that will hopefully shake some people up. In a normal year, I would have loved to have seen this at TIFF in a packed theather and watch the Oscar buzz rise for the entire team behind this film. Carey Mulligan will get her Oscar, you mark my words.
