Fred Casely’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's Eloise: All Grown Up. The most indelible character of the year, Greta Gerwig shines in Noah Baumbach's understated, glorious movie about the directionless of young adulthood, the trials and tribulations of making it in New York City (which the film nails perfectly), and, first and foremost, the evolving nature, but powerful resilience of friendship. I love FRANCES HA, I love the way she moves, I love her idiosyncrasies that make her so sympathetic and charming, yet utterly disoriented.
If they were in the same place and the same time, Frances and Llewyn Davis may be the perfect match for each other.
