Wonder Woman 1984 is a fantastic way to end 2020. It's full of the hope, love, and optimism we need right now. I highly recommend it!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 2019
I take back every mean thing I ever said about Attack of the Clones.

Mulan 2020
Fucking worthless. It strips the original film of nearly everything that made it special, but forgets to add anything worthwhile as a substitute. It is inferior to the original in literally every respect. If that's not enough, it also contains the most fucking abysmal editing I've ever seen in a major motion picture. I'm baffled that Disney considered this theater-worthy for the longest time, and doubly insulted that they have the gall to charge $30 for such an irredeemably awful pile of garbage. A new low for the Disney live-action remakes.
But at least it's better than Artemis Fowl.

Little Ashes 2008
guess he uh really likes uhhh getting into character uhhhhh
uhhh yeah i never want to see him jerk off on camera again are there any other movies where he does? pls say no.
the story was kinda there? idk. it never fully fleshed out what was going on imo and they casted too many similar looking people. yeah, they may have all had dark hair irl but for the sake of the movie they could have added a lighter brunette…

Anomalisa 2015
Very disappointed. Of course, the animation is impeccable and breathtaking but the story and script felt by far Charlie Kaufman’s weakest. The script was just, well... fine. Any other Charlie Kaufman script could prompt years of discussion. With this, the dialogue was just pretty average. There wasn’t one piece of dialogue that you could quote. There just isn’t enough story for a feature film. I would think it would’ve worked much better as a play, like it was written.
