Jim Drew’s review published on Letterboxd:
A house invasion film which tries hard to remind you of THE STRANGERS and YOU'RE NEXT. Unfortunately for the overly-generic TORMENT, I loved the former for its chills and complete and scary lack of motive, and the latter for being one of my genuinely favourite films of the last few years for many reasons.
There are moments tucked away, but there is nothing to say beyond one throwaway line uttered by the criminally underused Steven McHattie. There's nothing essentially wrong with a unfussy horror film but they do have to try a bit harder than this to be considered a success.
