Ideally I would have been watching another one of the Bong Joon-ho movies I haven’t seen yet but I drank too much (as per the newly established 11th commandment, Thou Shalt Drink ‘til the Next Morning) during the Host to fully absorb and appreciate something new, so bestowing yet another viewing (5th? 6th?) upon the BEST FUCKING PICTURE OF 2019 felt like a better choice.

Parasite rules. No war but class war, eat the rich, yada yada yada. Parasite won. The Academy got it right.
