Jaina K’s review published on Letterboxd:
I enjoyed two things about this film, the high concept, and the discussion between the stalker, the writer, and the professor in the chamber outside of the Room. A discussion on human nature, happiness, desire, secret wants, worthiness...really good stuff. But I otherwise found the movie quite slow, and the premise of the Zone, what with its weird physics and all, didn't really pay out for me on screen. I get that this wasn't a big budget SFX extravaganza...but I really would have liked a little more weird in there.
I can absolutely see why this is on Rian Johnson's Adventures in Moviegoing list, though. Lot of real deep human nature stuff I can totally see him sinking his teeth into.
