Again, when someone is so familiar with a place or concept, it only makes sense that they write about that. Being from Sacramento, much of this feels like an ode to Gerwig’s birthplace and childhood, as I’m sure she made a lot of this semi autobiographical.

Funnier than I expected and thoroughly enjoyable, but not sure I’ll be revisiting it a lot or thinking about it much in the future.
