This physically pained me to watch. I'm probably gonna need a few days of recovery. Annette feels like a theater kid's wet dream. And I didn't even realize it was a musical before I watched it. So, naturally, I hated it. I couldn't take any of the emotional stuff seriously with the stupid, never-ending singing. And why was the guy from The Big Bang Theory in this? He did not fit whatsoever. This also felt like the longest movie I've ever watched. Annette is undoubtedly one of my least favorite releases from this year. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from it.
