Love in it's rawest form. A work of pure, exquisite beauty. A vision of grandeur that stays true to what real life is. The colors work to create a sense of wonder, despite the endless amount of pain and loneliness our main character faces. It's genuine, it doesn't lie. It destroys you in every way imaginable, but, there's an odd sense of beauty to it all. As much as I love Being John Malkovich and Adaptation, I think it was right for Jonze to break away from Kaufman. This is Jonze at his most free, he explores the depths of emotions in ways I can't describe. This is his finest work. This is his masterpiece. This is his tour de force.
