Synecdoche, New York

Synecdoche, New York

I think Roger Ebert's review of this film sums up the experience better than anyone else can. I've never experienced a film quite like Synecdoche, New York, and I don't know if I'll feel the same way I do the next time I see it. It's got so many different hallways and passages to explore before I come to a complete idea of how I feel, but for now I know I've seen one of the best films of the 21st century. Charlie Kaufman is a master at writing believable characters.

It's an enigma, and writing a review detailing the characters, production value, and writing would not be enough to validate this film's enigmatic nature. I need to see it again.

I think I loved it.
