joaquin "the 3.5 stars guy" zanzio’s review published on Letterboxd:
gone girl solidifies its place amongst fincher's best films thanks to its twisted narrative and the thrilling moments that fill his movies. it's a long, slow film that almost feels like a police procedure but it somehow never gets boring or uninteresting, fincher is a master at crafting movies, handling characters and...well...giving us twists, and here...it really works, maybe not as good or impactful as in se7en or fight club but still a great twist which was indeed pretty twisted!
overall i'd say this is a great movie with some unsurprisingly great directing, structure and acting.
