a redeemable dirtbag action comedy and a christmas movie to boot 😌

the nudity feels like set dressing in the same way the cgi smog does, but it makes me feel conflicted as someone still prickly when women’s bodies are used for what they could imply (sex for the boys), and even when it’s done more intelligently than the genre it’s borne out of, it still feels icky.

but also god dammit this movie is so funny. everyone is so funny in this movie. ryan gosling is so funny it makes me so mad.
