This movie gets a half star funnier watching it with the closed captions on because the script is PERFECT. The little interjections they have is great. Watched this friends, Preferably with illicit substances.
P.S. I’ve been watching this movie so much lately (shout out to Jacob for the steelbook) but the story behind it is great and if you have extra time watch this with the commentary on
Taron Egerton is amazing and fully transforms into Elton John for this. His performance has me tetering between a 2.5 and 3.
The movie had some genuine emotion to it, but overall the screenplay was messy and the tone and focus were all over the place.
Like with Bohemian Rhapsody, I noticed that every time I found myself enjoying a scene it was because of the music being played, not the actual plot.
