Sometimes you just have to rip the skull and spine out of a bloated, faltering franchise, and proudly show how simple and effective a story involving the Predator can and should be.
I personally don’t EVER want to see a Predator film set in the modern day again after this.
The best thing about this film is that it’s about the humans, not the monster hunting them. Most crucially though, this film has one of the great movie dogs in living memory.
