Signs 2002
Added this to my watchlist after it came up during our weekly trivia at Laurier and we got it wrong because no one had seen it.
Didn't think this was anything special. Though I appreciated the overall message, I thought some parts were kind of corny and unrealistic (and I'm not talking about the alien invasion, I mean the human behaviors in response to it). I decided to watch this because the cover looked cool but this was just horrendous. Awful writing, unbearably unrealistic and the main girl was so ridiculously annoying it made me verbally upset. Don't bother with this one

Scent of a Woman 1992
Very good blockbuster Hollywood movie. It didn't reinvent the wheel in any sense, but for what it was it was executed extremely well and was very entertaining. Al Pacino and O'Donnell were both top notch, and, despite some parts being unrealistic, the story was nice too.
Haven't been watching as many movies in res but glad I could find the time to get such a great one down.

The Gentlemen 2019
Very entertaining. Hugh Grant and MM were awesome, I need to get into more of their stuff. Also shout out to Jeremy Strong, he held his own (succession gang). Pretty much all of the quirky little accents that were included only helped to make it such an enjoyable watch. I don't feel like I gained a whole lot from this, but that's not a bad thing; it tried to be an entertaining movie, and it succeeded.
