Man. Where to begin? I am astonished by the details Matt Reeves snuck into this movie. I want to begin by saying that his approach to the Bat was so unique and much needed. This is a film that has all the action aspects of the comics plus the detective work that Batman is known to excel in. To me, his dynamic with Gordon was what sold the film for audiences looking for a neo-noir…

Chris Nolan approached Hans Zimmer with a short story of a father having to leave his daughter and asked Zimmer to produce a melody based on that motif. After Zimmer delivered what is now known as “S.T.A.Y.” Nolan said he felt obligated to make the movie. And with right reason.

Classic underdog story but with all the NBA cameos in the world and Adam Sandler as the lead. 11 year old me would’ve loved the movie just because of the basketball theme.

  • Spiderhead

    Is your bottom soggy?”

Alana Haim’s debut couldn’t have been better. Cooper Hoffman’s performance was witty and he stole every scene he was a part of. PTA has never made a bad movie!! And I will die on that rock!!
Also, Bradley Cooper is freaking hilarious.

  • No Country for Old Men

Javier Bardem’s best performance. Tommy Lee Jones’s best performance. Josh Brolin’s best performance…
    Easily in my top 15.
It’s on HBO MAX now. Must watch!
