  • The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special

The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special

    ★★½

    I just don’t care

  • The Poughkeepsie Tapes

    The Poughkeepsie Tapes

    ★★½

The Poughkeepsie Tapes feels like one of those films that was lost after the massive praise The Blair Witch Project received. And for good reason, this is one of the blandest “documentaries” I’ve seen. Sure, the imagery is very disturbing and chilling but they use the footage as a marketing gimmick and it isn’t even THAT scary. The documentary aspect of the film feels lazy and half-assed. This film feels like a step down from films such as The Blair…

    IN YOUR EYES

  • Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

    ★★½

Bloated with poor exposition and a terrible script. The Wrath of Khan is loaded with convoluted storylines and lack of compelling dialogue. Sure the acting and VFX are great I will give it that but it’s execution with the film’s story is so poor and tedious that I couldn’t help but be disappointed with this.

  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars

    Star Wars: The Clone Wars

    ★★½

For someone who is watching the Clone Wars series as of now (doing it chronologically and prepping for the news season) this works more as an extended episode of the show. As a movie, it fails, it confuses the timeline and makes fans lost if they weren't invested into the show. The animation isn't anything special because well it's just like the tv show. My main complaints are that it works better as a TV show and I'm glad it has become one.

  • Thirteen

    Thirteen

    ★★½

Thirteen is a film I had no expectations on going in an I'm glad I did because it is just ok. The acting by Evan Rachel Wood and Holly Hunter were great and I liked how it was trying to make it a nauseating experience. But, that doesn't save it from a beat by beat "anti drug" film script and inconsistent cinematography and horrible editing and was so in your face. This film was just so full of itself in my opinion

  • Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules

    ★★½

The Empire Strikes Back of the series

  • Always Be My Maybe

    Always Be My Maybe

    ★★½

Watched this really late at night late night

Aside from a great chemistry and solid performances from its two leads and a amazing cameo from my boy Keanu. Always be My Maybe doesn't work and fails on laughs. The first two acts are lazy and feel uninspired and that last act gets a bit better but that's it

    5/10

  • Hold the Dark

    Hold the Dark

    ★★½

Aside from nice cinematography and good performances. This film just felt lazy and felt like something I've seen before

    5/10

  • A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

    ★★½

This felt like a carbon copy of the first one but it was a fun time i guess
